PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnet device for a charged particle accelerator capable of preventing a peripheral apparatus formed with a metal from being overheated or causing malfunction or the like by effectively shielding an A.C. leakage magnetic field from an end of the electromagnetic device. SOLUTION: This electromagnet device for a charged particle accelerator is provided with: electromagnets 11, 12 and 14 arranged through a predetermined space 16 for forming a magnetic field perpendicular to a traveling direction of a charged particle beam in the space 16; and end plates 14 mounted to both ends of the electromagnets 11, 12 and 14.
