PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform development of a series of GUI software by consistently supporting the processes ranging from program a preparation process to a test process of software accompanied with a GUI. SOLUTION: This software development support apparatus is provided with: a source code generation means for generating a source code from the screen information of the GUI; a test source code generation means for generating a test source code to test the source code from the screen information; a test scenario generation means for generating a test scenario to determine procedures for executing the test source code from the screen information; an execution program generating means for generating an execution program and an execution test program from the source code and the test source code; and a test execution means for testing the execution program based on the test scenario, and for testing the execution program.
