PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bush cutter which can easily and safely perform cutting works. SOLUTION: This bush cutter has at least a long bar 2, a rotary blade 3 disposed on the long bar 2 and rotated with an engine as a driving source, and a corner-cutoff protector 7 detachably mounted on the rotary blade 3. The corner-cutoff protector 7 comprises a support member 9 whose one end is detachably attached to the long bar 2 and whose other end is extended on the rotary blade 3, and a pair of fan-shaped protecting pieces 10, 11 attached to the support member 9. The outer peripheries of the fan-shaped protecting pieces 10, 11 are outward projected from the outer periphery of the rotary blade 3, and one or both of a pair of the fan-shaped protecting pieces 10, 11 are detachably attached to the support member 9.
