摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reproducing accuracy of a signal recorded in a recording layer to be reproduced without being affected by interlayer crosstalk in a multilayer optical disk in an optical pickup device. <P>SOLUTION: This optical pickup device is provided with a ring forming lens group 14 for forming a laser beam applied to an optical disk DK having a plurality of recording layers into a ring shape, a condenser lens 35 for condensing a reflected light from the optical disk DK, and a pinhole plate 36 having a pinhole 36a formed with a size corresponding to the luminous flux diameter of the reflected light condensed by the condenser lens 35. The ring forming lens group 14 refracts the laser beam applied to the optical disk DK to form the sectional shape of the laser beam into a ring shape so that the inner diameter of a ring-shaped condensed luminous flux formed in the pinhole plate 36 by the reflected light from a recording layer other than the recording layer having an optical spot formed therein is equal to or more than the diameter of the pinhole 36a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
