SOLUTION: The fixing unit drive device M for transmitting driving force of a motor 12 driving the gears to the pressure roller 11 of a fixing unit F includes: the gears 13, 14, 15, and 16 made of a natural grade material and used to transmit the driving force of the motor 12; and the gear 17 made of a heat-resistant material and used to rotate the pressure roller 11.
