PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AC switch that is assembled in a form of a MIC, downsized and cost-reduced. SOLUTION: The AC switch includes: a main switch 11 that includes a first main electrode, a second main electrode and a control electrode, and is turned on/off by a signal received by the control electrode to turn on/off an AC signal received between the first and second main electrodes; a control circuit 13 for generating a control signal to turn on/off the mains witch 11; ground fixing means D1, D2 for fixing a ground level of the control circuit to a minimum voltage of the AC signal; and a signal transmission means 15 that applies a voltage of zero voltage or over relative to the ground level fixed by the ground fixing means to a control electrode of a first transmission element, is activated by applying the control signal from the control circuit to a control electrode of a second transmission element connected in series with the first transmission element to provide an output of a delivery signal, generates a drive signal on the basis of the delivery signal, and applies ON/OFF drive to the main switch by the drive signal.
