PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection tube for a molten material temperature measurement which is excellent in durability and shock-resistance property. SOLUTION: The protection tube for the molten material temperature measurement 1 is capable of mounting a temperature detection element 40 measuring the molten material temperature. The tube 1 consists of a tube body 10, a reinforcement material 30 covering the tube body 10. The reinforcement material 30 is formed covering with a painting film 34 made of a glassy coating agent on the whole surface of a base sheet 32, while carrying out an impregnation of the glassy coating agent to the base sheet 32 which consists of a glass fiber.
