PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance mixing/crushing ability of a paddle conveyor by a mounting method of an impeller of the paddle conveyor. SOLUTION: In the paddle conveyor, the impeller is usually mounted parallel to or at an nearly parallel angle to a helical line in a feeding direction of the conveyor, however in an embodiment, the impeller is mounted on a helical line in a returning direction. The feed impeller 10 is rotated by 90°and performs conveying while conveying mixing and crushing, and an impeller getting into subsequent conveying is the impeller 11 and is delayed by 270°. Thus, the impeller for subsequent conveying is delayed by every 270°. However, during that, other impellers perform mixing and crushing and the mixing and crushing abilities while performing conveying are enhanced as compared with the conventional one.
