PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side reinforced-type pneumatic run-flat radial tire capable of drastically improving high-speed durability without deteriorating actual vehicle performance such as ride comfort. SOLUTION: This pneumatic run-flat radial tire is provided with a carcass 5, a main belt 8 positioned in the outer peripheral side of a crown part of the carcass 5 and comprising at least two inclined belt layers, a tread part 9 reinforced by the main belt 8, buttress parts 11 positioned in both end parts of the tread part 9, side wall parts 12 connecting the buttress parts 11 with bead parts 2, and reinforcement rubber layers 13 having an approximately semilunar cross section. A low-loss rubber layers 14 extending to the tire circumferential direction so as to have a band shape is arranged on the outer peripheral face of the carcass layer 5 at least leading to the buttress part 11, and a value of a loss tangent (tanδ) of the low-loss rubber layer 14 is within a range of 0.1 to 0.2.
