<p>Helical pipe (12) produced by spirally winding folded strip materials while causing them to interlock with each other, wherein space (SP) is provided in each interlocked portion (13), and wherein water absorbent member (15) is disposed in the space (SP). As in the helical pipe (12), the water absorbent member (15) is disposed in the space provided in the interlocked portion (13) invaded by water, any water having penetrated therein is absorbed by the water absorbent member. Accordingly, any water intrusion in the helical pipe can be prevented. As the water having been absorbed by the water absorbent member evaporates in accordance with the outside atmosphere, it is not needed to provide a trapping container, etc., thereby attaining simplification of peripheral equipment. In particular, as water intrusion can be prevented by the simple arrangement of disposing the water absorbent member in the space provided in the interlocked portion and as the water absorbent member can be disposed with allowance within the space, smooth movement can also be ensured.</p> |
