RADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a preamble time in a MIMO (multiple input multiple output)communication.

SOLUTION: A base station calculates transmission weight on the basis of transfer function information of a MIMO channel between an antenna group of a terminal station of the opposite communication party and an antenna group of its own group which perform spatial multiplexing and transmits a result obtained by multiplying a transmission weight matrix with the calculated transmission weight being a component by a transmission signal vector with each signal sequence to be subjected to spatial multiplexing being a component to each antenna of its own station. When a terminal station receives a transmission signal sequence separated for each terminal station, the base station estimates a residual interference amount being the amount of remaining signals to other terminal stations without being separated from the transmission weight of its own station, uses the estimated result to divide terminal stations into a plurality of groups so as not to give interference to radio stations to one another included in different groups and so as to mutually give interference to radio stations to one another included in the same group, and attaches as many MIMO preambles as the total sum of transmission streams to the entire base stations of each group to simultaneously perform transmission.
