PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a flame-retardant EPDM foamed body. SOLUTION: The method for producing the flame-retardant EPDM foamed body comprises a first process of producing a foaming resin composition obtained by addition and kneading of 10-50 pts.wt. of decabromodiphenyl ether, aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, antimony trioxide, red phosphorus, a softener, a curing accelerator, foaming agent and a vulcanizing agent to a mixture of 70-90 pts.wt. of EPDM resin with 35-45ML(1+4)100°C of Mooney viscosity and 30-10 pts.wt. of EPDM resin with 85-95 ML(1+4)100°C of Mooney viscosity, and heating the composition under pressure to produce an intermediate foamed body, and a second process of heating the intermediate foamed body under normal pressure to decompose the foaming agent.
