PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image generation system and the like for performing the version management of a source program for every object range. SOLUTION: A PC 100 is configured of an image generation part 114 for generating an image including a program display region for displaying a source program for view in which an object range is displayed so as to be identifiable and a layer region for displaying another version source program whose version is different from that of the source program for view in the object range; and a compilation part 112 for compiling the source program based on the input information of a user.
