PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress variation of a quantity of light by rod lenses.

SOLUTION: An optical element LZa which is composed of a material with a refractive index smaller than the refractive index of a substrate S and is shaped downward convex seen from the side of an element forming face Sa is provided at a position opposed to each organic EL element 33 and on an upside surface Sa as a light emitting surface of the substrate S. The light emitted from the organic EL element 33 is ejected spreading on a plane ZX when it transmits through the optical element LZa. Therefore, the light of a larger quantity of light enters the rod lens arranged in the periphery than the rod lens arranged at the front (region Z) of each organic EL element 33.
