PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic body roll which restrains the elongation and the waviness of paper submissively entering inside the nip part of a heating and pressuring type fixing device. SOLUTION: The elastic body roll 62 includes a distortion preventing layer 622 made of a high-rigidity heat-resistant resin thin film or a metallic thin film on the outside of a porous elastic layer 621, and has a releasing layer 623 composed of fluororesin on its surface. If it is used as the pressuring rotating body of the fixing device, the distortion of the surface of the roll caused by the deformation of the elastic layer 621 is reduced.
