PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that, though a cemented carbide stock such as a bar material with large length as compared with diameter such as an end mill and a drill is cut from a long bar material of 300 to 500 m/m, it is difficult to form a center hole in view of a cutting work, and a pressure distribution remains, thus its length is not made stable, and further, though the same can be easily worked by working from a half-sintered product, oxidation is caused by the working in the air, thus its quality is not made stable, and raw material yield is extremely inferior in both the cases. SOLUTION: In the case a powdery mixture of cemented carbide metal powder is molded by a vertical compression process, paraffin is added as a binder and lubricant, and press molding is performed (also, there is a process where granulation is performed simultaneously with the addition of paraffin), and, the surface of each metal granulated coarse grain subjected to the primary granulation is coated with a liquid lubricant, as a second material, which induces no mutual dissolution and chemical reaction with the primary lubricant and does not contain oxygen, and thereafter, compression molding is performed, thus press working to a material having a bar shape or planar shape with large length as compared with diameter is facilitated, and the production of a molding having reduced deformation is made possible.
