A light guide panel for a backlight is provided to uniformly emit the incidence light of a light source from a reflection surface to a light emitting surface. A light guide panel for a backlight includes a reflection surface for reflecting the light and a light emitting surface for emitting the light. The light is emitted as the surface light source type. A reflection patterns(30) is formed at the reflection surface and has the different density by sections so that the light with the uniform brightness is emitted from the entire surface of the light emitting surface. The reflection surface is divided into a dark section, a normal brightness section and a high brightness section according to the irradiation state of the light. Reflection patterns with high density are arrayed at the dark section. The density of the reflection patterns at the high brightness section is lower than that of the reflection patterns at the normal brightness section.
