A coupler for relieving residual pressure is provided to relieve residual pressure of the coupler and the fluid line such that a pressurized fluid remained in the coupler and the fluid line is not scattered onto the worker when a worker connects the coupler to a fluid line to supply a fluid into a cylinder for opening and closing a molten steel injection port of a ladle. A coupler for relieving residual pressure comprises: a body(110) clamped to a plug or socket in which a shelter part is installed to cut off a fluid flow when the coupler is separated; a stopper(120) which is installed in the body to move forward and backward, and of which one end pressurizes the shelter part to release the shelter part; and a pestle(124) formed on one end of the stopper to hit the shelter part. The coupler further comprises: a screw thread(126) and a screw part(114) respectively formed on an outer diameter portion of the stopper and a portion of the body corresponding to the outer diameter portion such that the stopper is engaged with the body; a handle(122) formed on the other end of the stopper to rotate the stopper; and an inner chamber(130) formed in the body to form a space around the stopper.
