A method for producing rice cake by using seaweed is provided to preserve the nutrients, taste and flavor of seaweed in rice cake, thereby promoting development of seaweed food and the consumption of rice. A method comprises the steps of: washing foreign substances and salt on the surface of seaweed; dewatering the washed seaweed by a dewatering device of centrifugal type; stirring for coating the surface of the dewatered seaweed with loess water; aging the seaweed coated with loess water; mixing rice with loess powder and aging the mixture; separating the rice and the loess powder; soaking the rice into loess water; pulverizing the soaked rice for making rice powder; and cutting the aged seaweed to 1-2cm, mixing the cut seaweed with the aged rice powder, and then making rice cake.
