THIN FILM TRANSISTOR SUBSTRATE, LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY AND THE FABRICATION METHOD

A thin film transistor substrate, an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display), and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to minimize a defect caused due to short-circuit by forming a gate signal line and a gate line as a multi-layered line structure. A color filter substrate(A2) includes a black matrix and a color filter. A thin film transistor(A1) includes a common electrode(110), a pixel electrode, and a thin film transistor(T). A liquid crystal layer(A3) is filled between the two substrates. A gate line having a multi-layered line structure and a common signal line having a multi-layered line structure are disposed at the thin film transistor substrate. The multi-layered line structure of the gate line includes a first gate line formed by patterning a conductive layer for a common electrode, and a second gate line formed by patterning a metal layer for a gate electrode.
