#CMT# #/CMT# The part (18) has a plate for fixation of the part on a power train of a motor vehicle, where the plate co-operates with a support (8) e.g. starter, of an accessory of the power train. The plate has holes provided for coupling the plate to an internal combustion engine of the vehicle. Blocking pins co-operate with grooves (16) of a toothed wheel integrated with the fly-wheel and are supported by a head integrated with the plate. The pins are dimensioned so that the pins are inserted in the grooves of the wheel, where the pins rotate in two directions of the fly-wheel. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for blocking the rotation of a fly-wheel of an internal combustion engine of a power train of a motor vehicle (claimed), during mounting and dismounting the engine for maintenance or testing operations on an engine bed. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The blocking pins are dimensioned such that the pins are inserted in the grooves of the toothed wheel, without any circular clearance, thus blocking the rotation of the fly-wheel in two rotational directions in a better manner. The part allows to perform engine dismounting operations in a secure manner for an operator, without any risk of damage to parts of the engine. The part reduces the blocking time of the fly-wheel as the need for dismounting the gearbox is eliminated and only the starter is to be placed. The head is detachable, so that the head can be changed in case of wear of the pins.
