The method involves receiving a message having a content, and determining a set of recipient terminals compatible with the format of the content of the message in order to generate an initial list of recipient terminals. The initial list is evaluated for the terminal if the terminal is connected to a communication network to receive the message. A new list of recipient terminals is generated from the initial list and preceding evaluation. The message is sent toward a terminal of a final list. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a data medium intended to be read by a computer (2) a data broadcasting device receiving a message with a content (3) a broadcasting system having a data broadcasting device.
