<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system having a water level sensor for detecting a water level in a drainage tank, by utilizing electrical capacitance which is capable of controlling a water level in the drainage tank within a control range even when water quality has changed. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell system 1 comprises a drainage tank 9 for storing water discharged from a fuel cell 2, and a water level sensor 10 for detecting a water level in a drainage tank 9 by utilizing electrical capacitance. The water level is controlled so as to fall between the low- and high-water level by discharging water from the drainage tank 9 based on a water level detected with the water level sensor 10, and as the number of water discharges occurring after the start of the fuel cell system 1 increases, the low-water level is made to be lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
