<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner that is superior in offset resistance and fixing separability, free of the problems of filming to a photoreceptor, and that is adaptable to full-color image formation. <P>SOLUTION: The toner contains at least a colorant, a wax (release agent) and a binder resin. The average particle diameter Dw (μm) of the particles of the wax floating, when the toner is immersed in an organic solvent used for dissolving or swelling the binder resin and when centrifugal separation is carried out, satisfies Formula (1): (1/3)Dt≤Dw≤(2/3)Dt for the number average particle diameter Dt (μm) of the toner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
