<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loop operational system in an electrical distribution system which attains reduction in power loss and maintenance of reliability on supply, and exhibits excellent facility investment effect. <P>SOLUTION: Both electrical distribution lines 31, 32 are connected to the loop point (a setting point of a linkage switch) in the electrical distribution system which is configured as a tree and operated via a protection device 7 comprising a sensor 71 for detecting the zero-phase voltage, a phase current and a zero-phase current of the distribution lines, a fault detection device 72 for detecting grounding, short-circuiting and disconnection in the distribution line and a circuit breaker 73 to constitute the loop operational system in the electrical distribution system. When the loop operational system is normal, the circuit breaker 73 is closed and the system is operated in a loop state, to detect the faults such as grounding, short-circuiting, disconnection or the like faster (high speed) than an existing distribution line protection facility, to release the circuit breaker 73, and to switch to a tree-like operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
