PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intercom system in which advertisement information, and the like, can be distributed to individual living room master units without configuring a large scale system and can be browsed on the living room master unit. SOLUTION: A door slave unit 1 is provided with a slave unit wireless reception means for receiving information and the received information is transmitted to a living room master unit 2. The living room master unit 2 is provided with an authentication code setting means and only the authenticated information out of the transmitted information is displayed on a liquid crystal monitor 10. Transmission of information to the door slave unit 1 is performed using a portable information transmission terminal 3. The living room master unit 2 is further provided with a master unit wireless transmission means so that information displayed on the liquid crystal monitor 10 can be transmitted by radio to a wireless reception terminal 4 provided separately, and a resident can utilize the information at the outing destination.
