PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof plug for a connector improved in the insertion property for an electric wire thereto and the insertion property to a cavity of a connector housing without enlarging the outside diameter of a body. SOLUTION: The waterproof plug A for a connector comprises a cylindrical body 1 made of elastic material, having a wire insertion hole 1a formed inside, and extendedly formed to have the almost uniform width in the direction of an axis L, a plurality of seal parts 3 formed on the inside peripheral surface of the wire insertion hole 1a of the body 1 with spaces to be gradually raised from a base end side where the wire 2 is inserted to the distal end side, and a plurality of second seal parts 5 formed on the outside peripheral surface of the body 1 with spaces to be gradually raised from the distal end side which is inserted into the cavity 4a to the base end side, wherein each of the first seal parts 3 and the second seal parts 5 is formed into almost half-mountain shape.
