PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network remote control system capable of controlling various kinds of devices to be controlled whose makers and types are different, and capable of reducing manufacturing cost of the remote control device. SOLUTION: The network remote control system comprises a controller 10 for transmitting a control instruction via a network 40, and a remote controller 20 for receiving the control instruction via the network 40. The remote controller 20 includes a remote control code converting unit 23 for producing remote control code data based on the control instruction, and a remote control light emitting unit 22 for transmitting the remote control code data to a device 30 as a remote control signal.
