COMPOSITION FOR INCREASING PERMEABILITY OF MICROBIAL CELL WALL AND METHOD FOR DETECTING THE MICROORGANISM ON MEMBRANE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for making a microbial cell wall permeable in order to count and detect microorganisms.

SOLUTION: The composition comprises a combination of PEI (polyethyleneimine) and at least one alcohol. Furthermore, the composition has the concentration of the PEI between 100 and 900μg/mL. The use of the composition for permeating an active ingredient into the cell is provided. A method for using the composition is provided in order to count and detect the microorganisms on the membrane in a targeted manner. A kit and a probe suitable for performing the method are provided.
