<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser welding system of which the running cost can be remarkably reduced while securing the welding quality. <P>SOLUTION: The laser welding system is provided with: a laser output set part for setting the set value of the output in a laser oscillator when the heat input volume of laser light emitted from a laser torch is measured; a laser heat input volume measuring instrument for measuring the heat input volume of the laser light; and a laser heat input volume control part where the laser heat input volume measuring instrument is irradiated with laser light from the laser torch before the start of welding, the reduction ratio of the heat input volume is calculated based on the difference between the measured value in the laser heat input volume measuring instrument and the set value in the laser output set part, and, when the energy of the laser light emitted from the laser torch is damped and the reduction ratio of the heat input volume reaches a prescribed value or above, welding on and after is not performed, and, when the reduction ratio of the heat input volume reaches the prescribed value or below, the set value in the laser oscillator is compensated, and the measured value in the laser heat input volume measuring instrument is corrected to the set value in the laser oscillator before the compensation, so as to perform welding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
