PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilating device capable of preventing diffusion of discharged air to an indoor space, preventing lowering of ventilating efficiency, performing ventilation with comparatively small air volume, and reducing operation noise. SOLUTION: This ventilating device 10 comprises an air discharge passage 14 communicated with a suction opening 12 formed on the circumference of a vertical wall surface W at a front part of an electromagnetic cooker 11 installed in a kitchen K of a building H, and having an air outlet 13 on an outer wall surface AW of the building H, and an air discharging device 15 mounted on the outer wall surface AW in a state of being communicated with the air outlet 13, and a grill 19 is mounted on a front surface of the suction opening 12. Further an air supply opening 16 for supplying the outside air toward right and left side areas and a front area of the electromagnetic cooker 11 as a part of an area surrounding the electromagnetic cooker 11, is formed on a ceiling surface C at an upper part of the electromagnetic cooker 11. The air supply opening 16 is communicated with a vent hole 18 formed on the outer wall surface AW through an air supply passage 17 in the ceiling surface C and the vertical wall surface W.
