摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bias voltage adjustment method of a development device capable of appropriately adjusting the amount of a toner to be supplied to a development roll while stably maintaining an image grade. <P>SOLUTION: The bias voltage adjustment method of the development device which includes a magnetic roll 143 for holding a two-component developer 146 composed of a carrier and toner filled in a developing tank 142 in a brush form, and a development roller 144 holding the toner conveyed from the magnetic roll 143 and developing an electrostatic latent image formed on an image carrier 110 and conveys the toner from the magnetic roll 143 to the development roller 144 by the bias voltages respectively applied to the magnetic roll 143 and the development roller 144, is provided. The bias voltage to be applied to the magnetic roll 143 is so adjusted that the concentration of the pattern formed on the image carrier 110 or the concentration of the solid pattern after the transfer to a transfer member attains the prescribed concentration in the state of applying the prescribed low-voltage bias voltage to the development roller 144. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
