<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ETC indicator lamp control device capable of changing the brightness of the indicator lamp of ETC on-vehicle equipment provided on a room mirror according to the peripheral brightness, and preventing the turn-on/turn-off of the indicator lamp from being overlooked even when a headlight of a succeeding vehicle is intensely reflected by the room mirror. <P>SOLUTION: Day and night are discriminated by a peripheral light sensor 4, and the light emission level of an indicator lamp to be turned on out of an abnormality indicator lamp 10 and a normality indicator lamp 11 is controlled according to the result of discrimination. Further, during the night time, when the light of the headlight of a succeeding vehicle is intensely reflected by a room mirror 1 having the automatic antidazzle function, this reflection is detected by a backward light sensor 5 provided on the room mirror 1. Before the reflectance of a mirror 3 is actually degraded for antidazzle, the light emission level of the indicator lamp is raised to prevent the lighting of the pilot lamp from being overlooked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
