PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a height adjustment mechanism of a printer capable of preventing a label from sagging to adhere a placement face of the printer even when a length L of the label output from a discharge hole is longer than the height H from the peeling position to the placement face and facilitating a sticking work for a worker by enabling the adjustment of the height of the printer. SOLUTION: The printer 1 is equipped with a height adjustment section 21 that can adjust a height H from the placement face 22 having the printer 1 placed thereon to a peeling position (a peeling direction change shaft 18) of a label 11 to be not lower than the length L of the peeled label 11 output from the discharge hole 19 of the printer 1 (H≥L) when the length L of the peeled label 11 output from the discharge hole 19 is not lower than the height H (L≥H).
