PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a good coloring composition having high coloring power, and a wide color-displaying range on using the same as ink or a coating. SOLUTION: This coloring composition is provided by containing a pigment vehicle consisting of a resin, or its precursor or their mixture, and both of an aluminum phthalocyanine pigment containing aluminum as a central metal and a zinc phthalocyanine pigment containing zinc as the central atom by preferably (5 to 40):(60 to 95) wt.% ratio. Also, the coloring composition is provided by containing the aluminum phthalocyanine pigment containing the aluminum as the central metal, the zinc phthalocyanine pigment containing the zinc as the central atom and a copper phthalocyanine pigment containing the copper as the central atom by preferably (5 to 45):(30 to 80):(10 to 60 ) wt.% ratio.
