PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL device which has a sufficient luminance and excellent stability and durability, and can be increased in area and is easily manufactured. SOLUTION: The electroluminescence device consists of one or a plurality of organic compound layers interposed between a pair of electrodes one of which is transparent or translucent. One layer of the organic compound layers contains one or more kinds of luminescent polyether having a repetitious unit structure which includes a specific structure as a partial structure.
