The fastener has a metal screw surrounded by a casing that is composed of plastic UL 94 and includes a continuous cylindrical borehole, where an extension is provided at an end of the borehole. The metal screw provided with a thickened head end is inserted in the borehole, where the thickened head end rests on the extension of the borehole. A front side of the head end lies within the extension at a distance from a front side of the casing. The metal screw is loaded with torque moment which is greater than 1.5 Newton-meters (Nm). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a fastener for fastening a component part and/or a unit.
