PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bedrock bathing apparatus which always and appropriately controls ambient temperature and humidity in a bathroom and can immediately respond to also a sudden temperature fall by the opening and shutting of a door. SOLUTION: In the bedrock bathing apparatus in which a bedrock bathing bed utilized by being heated is arranged in the bathroom, the bedrock bathing bed has a lamination structure that a bedrock face layer is prepared on a thermal storage layer in which a heat pipe or an electric heater is mounted for its heating, and the bedrock face layer is formed using natural rock or natural stone, which radiates far infrared radiation of a wavelength range of 4-14μm, as a material, a steam sprayer which sprays live steam generated by heating of a boiler, etc. and a humidity sensor are provided within the bathroom, the steam sprayer operates to open when the humidity sensor detects the fall of the humidity below a fixed range and the steam sprayer operates to close when the humidity sensor detects the elevation of the humidity above a fixed range.
