PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turret-shaped tool support of an NC lathe which performs turning, indexing, or positioning of a turret, rotation of a rotating tool of a rotating tool device provided on respective faces of the turret, turning of A-axis, and driving of an end face simultaneous processing device, or the like with one single built-in motor. SOLUTION: The first turret-shaped tool support 3 comprises: a first cylindrical main spindle 35 rotated by a motor 34; a first movable gear 33 keeping the circumference carrying a spline shaft at the rear end of the first spindle 35 and end face carrying a concavo-convex section of a clutch shape; a second main spindle 36 inserted through this first main spindle 35, having the rear end fixed with a clutch 33a engaged with the concavo-convex section of the first gear 33 and the front end fixed with a first bevel gear 33f, and rotatably pivoted by a both ends-supported bearing; a gear train for turning turret from the first gear 33; and a three-piece coupling for clamping the turret 3a, and is materialized by selecting the clutch 33a.
