<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device provided with guide chutes for preventing adherence of water droplets to a sheet after fixation and the guide chutes used for the image forming device. <P>SOLUTION: This sheet carrying device is used for the image forming device including a fixing device 2 capable of heating and fixing unfixed toner images on a sheet 1, is provided with the guide chutes 3 in one side or both sides of a sheet carrying path positioned on the downstream side of the fixing device 2, and carries and guides the sheet 1 along the guide chutes 3. The guide chute 3 is provided with a chute main body 4 having general faces 4a extending approximately along the sheet carrying path; a plurality of ribs 5 provided in the chute main body 4, projecting to the general faces 4a with no square parts on the sheet carrying path side, and extending to a direction at least including a sheet carrying direction component; and grooves 6 provided in the chute main body 4, extending so as to be adjacent to at least one lateral sides of the ribs 5, and recessed in the direction opposite to the ribs 5 with respect to the general faces 4a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
