PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polyamide porous particles which have a specific particle diameter, a specific pore diameter, a narrow particle diameter distribution, a large specific surface area, and high crystallinity, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The polyamide porous particles have a number-average particle diameter of 1 to 30μm and a BET specific surface area of 100 to 80,000 m<SP>2</SP>/kg. The method for producing the polyamide porous particles is characterized by comprising mixing a solution (A) comprising a polyamide and a solvent therefor with a non-solvent (B) for the polyamide and water (C) to form a temporarily uniform solution, and then depositing the polymer to obtain the particles.
