PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leather-like material having high grade like appearance or touch and also having moldability, shape retention and a good grade, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The leather-like material is constituted by laminating a skin material comprising an extremely fine fiber nonwoven fabric with a decitex of 0.0001-0.5 and a weldable fiber nonwoven fabric and comprises a fiber material substantially. The leather-like material is manufactured by super posing the extremely fine fiber nonwoven fabric with an average filament fineness of 0.0001-0.5 decitex and the weldable fiber nonwoven fabric to subject them to high speed fluid treatment and welding treatment successively.
