DEODORIZING UNIT

A deodorizing unit that can realize enhancing of deodorization efficiency, easy handling and attaining of compactness. The deodorizing unit comprises an adsorbent layer provided in the form of a ring surrounding multiple adsorbent particles capable of adsorbing components of an odiferous gas by means of a gas-permeable member; concentrically housed in the adsorbent layer, a circular adsorptive body having multiple through-holes; and a support structure supporting the adsorbent layer and the adsorptive body. The adsorptive body is in polygonal form or cylindrical form, and is selected from the adsorbent group consisting of a honeycomb adsorbent, a corrugated adsorbent and a fiber structure adsorbent.
