KOVAR RING PRECISION ASSEMBLY METHOD AND SYSTEM OF CERAMIC PACKAGE

A method and an apparatus for precisely assembling a kovar ring of a ceramic package are provided to improve precision of kovar ring's position and to prevent leak defect by employing a vision recognition. A parts feeder(102) provides a kovar ring. A kovar ring suction and transfer unit(104) sucks and transfers the kovar ring provided from the parts feeder. A sheet alignment unit(106) includes a vision system(108) for performing a vision recognition. The sheet alignment unit aligns a ceramic sheet after performing the vision recognition. A dispenser(110) discharges an adhesive. The precision of Kovar ring's position is improved and leak defects being generated in a sealing process using a lid is prevented by employing the vision recognition performed in the vision system.
