STEAM GENERATION DEVICE UTILIZING LOW TEMPERATURE WASTE HEAT AND COGENERATION DEVICE USING THE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for generating steam that can be effectively utilized by utilizing low temperature waste heat and cogeneration device using the device. SOLUTION: The steam generation device consists of an evaporator 5a for evaporating water using the low temperature waste heat as a thermal source and a compressor 6a for compressing the steam evaporated by the evaporator 5a and a motor 7a for driving the compressor 6a. The cogeneration device 1 is structured by adding the steam generation device with an internal combustion engine 2, a generator 3 driven by the internal combustion engine 2 for supplying electric power to an electric power load and a cooling water circulation pump 4 for supplying the internal combustion engine 2 with cooling water 10 and steam of high temperature/high pressure is supplied by evaporating supply water 9 by the evaporator 5a using the cooling water 10 which retrieving waste heat of the internal combustion engine 2 as a thermal source and compressing the evaporated steam by the compressor 6a.
