<p>A gear (40) is provided coaxially with a feed reel (21a) or a take-up reel (21b), and a slide body (50), having a pawl portion (52) meshing with the gear (40) only in one direction and a cover member (55) for containing a transfer head (30) and provided with an opening (56), is held movably through a resilient member (60) in the body case (20). The cover member (55) can be opened/closed with respect to the slide body (50) and, under a state where the cover member (55) is closed, the cover member (55) presses a transferred body to retract the slide body (50), to project the transfer head (30) from the opening (56) of the cover member (55), and to press the transfer head (30) against the transferred body thus transferring a coating locally. The slide body (50) is then advanced by releasing the pressing cover member (55) and a feed reel (21a) and the take-up reel (21b) can be rotated in the feeding direction of a transfer tape by means of the pawl portion (52). Under a state where the cover member (55) is released, coating can be transferred continuously by pressing the transfer head (30) against the transferred body and moving it in parallel with the transferred body.</p> |
