<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-bedding detection device, reducing the possibility that when a living body is not on bedding, erroneous determination of on-bedding is made. <P>SOLUTION: A vibration sensor 2 is disposed on a bed 1, thereby detecting the vibration of the bed 1 and heartbeat vibration of a user on the bed 1. A lying determination part 21 determines to be in the body movement state due to the movement of a living body on the bed when the amplitude of an output signal of the vibration sensor 2 exceeds a regulated body movement threshold. The on-bedding determination part 21 determines the on-bedding state where the user is on the bed 1 in the case where the output signal of the vibration sensor 2 contains a component having the frequency of the heartbeat vibration when the amplitude of the output signal of the vibration sensor 2 is equal to or lower than the body movement threshold, and determines not-on-bedding state in the case where the amplitude of the output signal of the vibration sensor 2 is equal to or less than the body movement threshold and a living body is not detected by the living body sensor.
