PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain compactness while securing high reception sensitivity as a whole by enabling an antenna for a mobile apparatus to perform the high sensitivity reception of sharpened directivity under a feeble radio-wave environment and to perform the high angle reception of broadened directivity under a weak radio-wave environment wherein many shielding matters are included. SOLUTION: In this antenna structure for the mobile apparatus, the antenna 14 for receiving radio is provided at a casing 12 for display provided with a display part 10, and a casing 16 for processing incorporating a picture processor for outputting a picture signal is provided separately from the casing 12 for display. The casing 12 for display is provided with the antenna 14 for receiving a radio signal from outside on the rear side of a display surface 10a and a receiver 18 which outputs a video signal based on the radio signal received by the antenna 14. A reception property varying means 20 which varies reception property such as a gain and directivity of reception of the radio signal by the antenna 14 is provided at the casing 12 for display.
