PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a level shifter circuit which has Schmitt trigger function of converting the voltage of high level signal into low voltage, for switching signals at the intermediate value of the input voltage. SOLUTION: The input terminal of a level shifter circuit 10 is connected to a low-voltage circuit 30 and a high-voltage circuit 40. The low-voltage circuit 30 switches between transistors 33P and 34N at the voltage of the source terminal of a transistor 31N, and outputs a low-voltage side drive voltage VDD or the ground voltage GND. The high voltage circuit 40 switches between transistors 43N and 44P at the voltage of a source terminal of a transistor 41P, and outputs a high-voltage side drive voltage HVDD or a high voltage side reference voltage HVSS. It is allowed to be the same level as an output potential of the low-voltage circuit 30 via a potential adjusting circuit 50, and is supplied to an RS latch circuit 60. The RS latch circuit 60 uses an output of the potential adjusting circuit 50, when shifting from a low level to a high level, and uses an output from the low voltage circuit 30, when it is shifted from a high level to a low level.
