PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice conference device which can radiate/collect sound promptly by optimal setting even if the sound radiation/collection environment is in a variety of situations and the situations are variable. SOLUTION: Microphones MIC 101-116 and MIC 201-216 are formed in array on the opposite long side faces of a long substantially rectangular parallelepiped housing 2 along the longitudinal direction, and speakers SP 1-16 are formed in array on the lower surface along the longitudinal direction. The speaker array forms a sound radiation beam based on sound radiation directivity which is set depending on the conference environment. On the other hand, when the microphone array forms sound collection beams of sound collection signals collected by the microphone arrays, the direction of a speaker is detected from them and an output voice signal corresponding to that direction is formed and reflected on the setting of sound radiation directivity. When there are a plurality of input voice signals, the sound radiation directivity is set depending on the use conditions of the plurality of input voice signals. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
